Arras
Famed for it's two quaint cobble-stoned squares, 'Grand'Place & Grand des Héros', Arras is a lovely city to stopover when you're near to Calais. Surrounded by Flemish Baroque-style houses, fine-food shops, cafes and bars, along with it's unique underground WW1 Remembrance site 'Wellington Quarry' and a UNESCO World Heritage attraction, Arras provides the ideal fusion of culture, history and retail temptation.
Tip: Whilst in Arras if you want a traditional tasty dish ' Moules Frites' aka Mussels and Chips, then you have to head to the cozy eatery, Le Bouchot .
On a side note, if you're planning to book a Ferry, we always recommend looking at Direct Ferries before booking, it's a great site compare prices and times.
