EAST, LONDON

Aside from being renowned as the fabulous free-spirited area of London, East is full of gems and green areas to explore.

One Park in particular embraces the cities nature and culture, especially on a Sunday!

Victoria Park, Tower Hamlets

One of the most visited parks in London, Victoria Park not only beautifies the East End but truly portrays how the city enables everyone to enjoy it's outside spaces. An iconic bootleg shaped park, Victoria blends it's glorious 86 acres of greenery with lakes and fountains along with various paths to either run, stroll or cycle to get that daily exercise fix in. One other special element of Victoria Park happens every Sunday, can you guess? Yes, their magnificent market! Between Bonner Gate and Gore Gate you'll be filled with mouth-watering food vendors selling a delightful selection of freshly ready made grub, treats and coffee! Whether it's your daily walk in the park, picnic gathering or you haven't checked this Park out - you must!

Tip - If you're there on a Sunday and want a very traditional British bite to eat then head to Finest Fayre stall to try their insane Scotch Eggs (pictured above).

On a side note, another awesome park to check out is London Fields, Hackneys firm favourite!
