IBIZA, SPAIN

This Balearic isla is a hedonistic paradise, known for its raw nature, wellness havens and bohemian lifestyle.

Paella is Spain's iconic rice dish, when Hidden Gemsss heads to Ibiza there's always one restaurant in San José that truly fulfils that Ibizan taste along with the perfect place for that coffee ibiza and unbeatable romantic retreat.

Sa Caleta

Although Sa Caleta is off the beaten sandy dirt track, it's easy to find as this family-run joint has cemented itself as a traditional seafood restaurant on the island for over 30 years. Nestled between the ochre cliffs and the idyllic mediterranean sea, Sa Caleta offers a rustic and cosy interior in which you can dine under the twisted Juniper trees.

Tip: Make sure you take a dip in the peaceful bay which the restaurant overlooks and salut to life with a glass of their delightful Sangria.

Calma Restaurante

Located in the heart of Ibiza Town's exclusive 'Marina Botafoch' area, there's one bar Hidden Gemsss will always head to for that ultimate Ibiza view... Calma Restaurante. Without a doubt this is one of the best spots on the island to relax with a coffee or cocktail and enjoy watching the super rich pose in their luxury speed boats and yachts as they pass by as well as admiring the fortified old town of Dalt Vila. Calma provides a laid back ambience along with a delicious Mediterranean all day menu and is definitely one to pass by.

Tip: Make sure you stay for Sunset, the evening glow here is unreal.

Casa Maca

Hidden in the quiet hills of Can Palau just outside of Ibiza's centre you'll find the rural hotel and restaurant, Casa Maca. Surrounded by a wonderful assortment of trees and immersed within the Ibizan nature, it's here where you can truly appreciate a fresh 'farm to table' dining experience and intimate environment with surreal island views, attentive service and a warming atmosphere.

Tip: Make sure you share their grilled aubergine, it may sound simple but the white miso sauce on-top is incredible.

On a side note, if you do fancy a wee dance, round the corner from Sa Caleta you'll come across the famed Blue Marlin providing the ultimate Balearic soundtrack.
